of KNO3!

Sam:  Thanks for your diligence in making sure this KNO3 shipment got to me.  I am
sending this to the whole list (SUGPRO@ROCKETEERS.COM) as a testament to your
outstanding service.

I received the package today and immediately started a batch of recrystallized KN/SU by
the open pan (electric skillet) method.  Every batch of saltpeter I get is a little different
from the last, so it may take me a try or two to optimize the process for this type, but on
the first try this KNO3 made very good propellant.  Texture is a little different, but
performance is very good.

I performed two static tests with this propellant today in the 38-240 casing.  Both
worked well, and they were consistent.  Burn rate and ISP are comparable to that
obtained from propellant made with food-grade and pharmaceutical-grade KNO3
I have used in the past.

I'm trying to upload them now, but the FTP is having hiccups.  Once it works, they will be
at
:  http://www.jamesyawn.com/tests/1-06/index.html

Tomorrow I plan to test this KNO3 with the sugar syrup and the oven-recrystallized
methods, and will report back when I have any results worthy of comment.

I deeply appreciate your willingness to provide the essential materials for sugar
rocketry.

Thanks again!

Sam & Vici Grado:

I received the sorbitol shipment yesterday.  It's a real pleasure to deal with a small
business who is customer oriented and actually does what they advertise.

Thanks for the good service and a product price that is just fantastic.  I can't wait for my
first test burn using your product.

Regards, Tom
